Who we are

"Bible on Your Wrist" (the "Service", "we", "us") is a daily Bible verse website available at bibleonyourwrist.site. This policy explains what information the Service handles and why.

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you use the "Share Your Story" feature, we collect the content you submit:

• Your story text (required).
• Name (optional) — you may leave it blank to appear as "Anonymous".
• Location (optional).

Please do not include sensitive personal information in a story, as submitted stories are published publicly (see below). We do not operate user accounts and do not ask for passwords or payment details.

Information collected automatically

• Analytics data collected through Google Analytics, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring links. See "Cookies & analytics".
• Anti-abuse data. To limit spam and repeated failed logins, we temporarily store a one-way hashed form of your IP address together with a request counter. This is kept only for a short rate-limit window and is not used to identify you.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard web-server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and diagnostics.

How we use information

• To publish and display the community stories you choose to share.
• To operate, secure and improve the Service (including spam and brute-force protection).
• To understand, in aggregate, how the Service is used, via analytics.

Stories you share are public

Any story you submit — along with the optional name and location — is displayed publicly on the Service and may be seen and indexed by anyone. Share only what you are comfortable making public. You can ask us to remove a story at any time (see "Your rights").

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-Z5SE7R6SXB) to measure traffic and usage. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf; information may be processed by Google. For details see Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. The admin area uses a strictly necessary session cookie that is only set for signed-in administrators.

Third-party services

The Service links to and integrates third-party services that have their own privacy policies, including Google Analytics, and external links such as TikTok and partner apps. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties.

Data retention

• Submitted stories are kept until you ask us to remove them or we remove them under our Terms.
• Anti-abuse counters are discarded automatically after their short rate-limit window.
• Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings and Google's policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request — including removing a story you submitted — contact us through the Service. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
